- 1883- First Brigade organized in Glasgow, Scotland
- 1900- Boy's Brigade organized in Neenah
- 1901- S.F. Shattuck took over Brigade leadership (until 1976)
- 1908- First camp at Onaway Island
- 1928- Current Brigade property is purchased
- 1935- Building expansions
- 1956- Brigade building opens and undergoes more expansions
- 1970 Brigade expands to 32,000 square feet
- 1979- Girls' Brigade is formed
- 1993- Boys' and Girls' Brigade unite
--FUN FACTS--
- The building's original use was a dairy company called Danke Dairy
- There was a fallout shelter created in the building for community members with a capacity for eighty people
- The architects for the 1970 expansion were Shattuck, Siewert, and Associates.
- The Fluor Brothers were the contractors for all expansions
- The Neenah-Menasha Boys' and Girls' Brigade is the largest Brigade in the world
- The first Officers for the Boys' Brigade in 1928 were C. W. Johnson as president, V. A. Holden as captain, Frank Hughes as first lieutenant, Howard Buxton as second lieutenant, Moses Giddings as first sergeant, and Byron Bell as quartermaster.
The Boys' and Girls' Brigade is an organization for 6th to 12th graders in the Neenah-Menasha Community. The Brigade's mission is: "We Build Leaders." The vision of the Brigade is: "The Boys' & Girls' Brigade will be recognized as the center of excellence for youth, character, and leadership development."
