- 1950-Fiftieth anniversary of the Neenah-Menasha Boys' Brigade
- 1951- First international trip to Denmark
Celebrations:
- January 16, 1950-Brigade members walked to church to present new members with song books.
- January 19, 1950-A large party was held at the Brigade to celebrate the anniversary.
- January 28, 1950-The anniversary ball was held in the gymnasium.
New Brigade Building:
- 1956-The new building and renovations were complete. Between 1956 and 1966, membership tripled from three-hundred-eleven to nine-hundred-thirteen boys. The main reason for the explosion of members was the new opportunities presented by the new building. It expanded the programs to include the drill floor, rifle range, and a gymnasium. The building now had a kitchen and dining facilities.
Brigade Focus:
At the time, each grade had a chairman that was in charge of choosing the activities to focus on. Sixth grade classes focused on camping, nature study, and Brigade history. Seventh grade classes focused on first aid, hunters' safety, and building character. Eighth grade classes focused on travel and transportation. Ninth grade classes focused on sports and sportsmanship. Tenth grade classes focused on vocational guidance.
